Daniel Argimon painted for the French Government from 1965-1966 and for the International Institute of Education, New York in 1968.He studied at L’Ecole des Beaux Arts in Paris, the Pratt Institute in New York and the School of Art in Barcelona.He funded many associations to promote artists.He also directed some films.Some principal awards and recognitions: Cercle Maillol, Barcelona (1965). “International Painting Paris-Esone”, Paris (1965). Mini-Gravat, Cadaqués (1983). Lassale d’Art, Barcelona (1985). Accèsit I Biennal F. C. Barcelona (1985).

Argimon had between 1960 and 1996 102 individual shows in Switzerland, Spain, United States, Belgium, France, Mexico, Germany, Italy, Beirut, Jordan, and Holland in museums, galleries and cultural centers.He also between 1958 and 1997 did 227 collective expositions in: Spain, Switzerland, Holland, Finland, Germany, Italy, Hong Kong, Japan, South Africa, India, Chile, Ecuador, Uruguay, Argentina, Andorra, Poland, Mexico, Canada, England and Sweden.
