José Franco Cordero
Spanish, 1851-1910

José Franco Cordero was born in Jerez de la Frontera and was a student of José Jimenez Aranda. Spanish painter.He studied in the School of Fine Arts of Santa Isabel de Hungary in Seville, and in that of San Fernando in Madrid.He was a disciple of José Jiménez Aranda and specialized in painting customs and landscape.It concurred to the National Exhibition of Fine Arts of 1878 with Landscape , the one of 1881 with the afternoon and the one of 1892 with another Landscape that obtained third medal.
